The Bride was a navigable tributary of the Blackwater, entering on the right (west) bank. Here are some (not very interesting) photos of the junction.
The junction is just downstream of Camphire (OSI 25″ ~1900)

Hard to imagine that sailing vessels made their way up there
I wonder whether there were trees on the land
