Gandalows on the Cashen, which enters the sea south of Ballybunion in Co Kerry. The photo was taken from the bridge on the R551 in 2015.

Quadrupling Kerry’s canals

I thought there was only one canal in Co Kerry, but there were three more at Lixnaw. They’re still to be seen and they have interesting associations.
